Disabling CSS inlining

Lo sentimos, este artículo de ayuda aún no está traducido al español. Si lo desea, puede probar una traducción automática de Google.

Este artículo de ayuda es para una versión anterior de Direct Mail.

When Direct Mail sends or previews your message, it automatically inlines all CSS styles in your HTML email (including linked stylesheets). This is done to improve compatibility with a variety of email clients that may not otherwise render the CSS correctly.

If you do not want this behavior, you can disable CSS inlining. Here's how:

  1. Choose Direct Mail > Settings (or Direct Mail > Preferences) from the menu bar.
  2. Select the Messages tab
  3. Uncheck the "Preprocess HTML content before sending" checkbox

You can use the Preview window in View Source mode to see the effects of enabling or disabling this setting.

Caution

If you turn off CSS inlining, we recommend running a full design test on your email before sending it. Some email clients do not honor any CSS styles unless they are inlined, so you may want to use the design test to verify that your email looks the way you want before you send it out.
