Importing templates from MailChimp

Direct Mail's message editor can use templates designed for MailChimp. Here's how to use MailChimp templates with Direct Mail:

  1. Choose Message > Import File from the menu bar.
  2. Select the HTML template file and click Open.

The template will be displayed in the message editor. Direct Mail understands and automatically converts the following MailChimp template variables:

  • ARCHIVE
  • MC:DATE
  • CURRENT_YEAR
  • UNSUB
  • EMAIL
  • UPDATE_PROFILE
  • FACEBOOK:LIKE
  • TWITTER:TWEET
  • FNAME
  • LNAME
